Mississippi State may not have the best rushing attack, but by golly they're gonna try.
In defeating Troy 45-17, the Dawgs ran for a total of 125 yards; a quarter of that coming from QB runs, including the only rushing TD from freshman QB Nick Fitzgerald.
Meanwhile it couldn't be easier for State to score the ball in any other way.
Whether it was Fred Ross returning a punt. Dak and Fitz topping each other with beautiful long passes. Or the Defense recording a monster sack/forced fumble and scooping it up for the score.
Even sophomore K Westin Graves nailed his 42-yarder.
In the end, an easy victory. Expect the same next week against La. Tech.
